For me this is a sign of really bad design. Some people even say that they look at Map Editor before playing any new map in the DLCs - especially to find out these spawns and plan accordingly. In addition to that AI gets spawns in random points of the map and these fighter units do their actions at the same turn - have fun getting hit out of nowhere ("protect your bomber units" they say, but without any intelligence it simply means that bombers cannot be used solo at all times even if you have destroyed any air units you've seen)! I've read in the forums that this is an idea of fun for creators of the DLCs. To allow AI to win Allies have a lot more units then Player can get and the Player gets basically no Prestige, so any losses make you feel like "how i will fight next 10 spawns of the same fighter?". Half of wave can be destroyed on the move. Even if they have a vision of Player units they switch to car mode and move! Some time they move right into Player units. The Russians attacked the XLVII Panzer Corps, moving the 108th and, from September 1st, the 110th Tank Brigades west and north-west from Trubchevsk for this. How to say it? Playing Afrika Corps I have a constant feeling of Starcraft where I play Protos (low amount of technically advanced units with good coordination) against Zergs (huge amount of low level units spawning out of nowhere and performing uncontrollable rush): AI is stupid, units simply rush into positions they have to capture. The Original game is interesting and feels like "that one" Panzer General.
